I’ve been hatching a plan. It goes a little something like this:
Combine the vast knowledge that I have learned from The Niche Blogger along with the free marketing methods I have learned from Pot Pie Girl with the crazy awesome techniques that I learned from Google Sniper and create a mega-marketing-wonder-plan.
I have decided to work with a clickbank product since the commissions that you can earn there are so high. I have chosen one that has to do with alternative energy because it is an area that I am interested in, as my husband and I are planning on making our dream home a green home.
So far, I have created a windmill energy website, along with several Squidoo lenses (Windmill Power, Wind Power Turbines, Home Windmill Power, How to Build a Wind Turbine) and written some ezine articles and articles at Suite 101 to promote them. If you have never tried Squidoo, it can be pretty addicting. I’m still getting the hang of getting my lenses indexed and getting free traffic from Google. If you are a Squidoo member, please feel free to visit my lenses and leave comments…I would love some feedback!
Now, when will I stop with my little wind empire and move on to something else? Not yet. I began this whole campaign around May 5th and I’ve just started hitting heavy with the Squidoo stuff in the last couple of days. I have decided that I will continue making lenses and writing articles and working with this campaign in general until I have made 5 sales of this product.
At that point, I will choose another product and start all over. I think that once I reach 5 sales, I will be able to figure out what I’m doing right and what I’m doing wrong and then keep on going.
Where am I? Well, right now I have made 2 sales. Both of them to the same person! Both sales were on May 11, around 6:30 in the morning. One was for the original product – $31.85 and the other was for some other kind of sale on the back end – $45.73- BONUS!
When I work up and saw that there was $77.00 in my clickbank account, I became addicted to affiliate marketing on the spot. I am just going to keep working at it until I reach my goal – and then let it keep making me money while I keep working on other campaigns.
Just think how it could change your life if you got one $30.00 clickbank sale per day, 7 days a week. That’s an extra $210.00 per week – or an extra $840 per month.
Before you even ask, “Which one of these methods are the best” – let me tell you my take on all of this.
If you are just starting with blogging, affiliate marketing and such, The Niche Blogger is definitely the way to go. It takes you by the hand, step by step until you are making money.
If you’ve been doing affiliate marketing for a while and know a good bit about SEO and keyword research, then one of the other methods might be better for you.
The key, though, is learning all you can and then putting it into action until you make it work. That’s my plan and I’m sticking to it.
