Catching the Dream

“The dream was always running ahead of me. To catch up, to live for a moment in unison with it, that was the miracle.” – Anais Nin

My son has suggested that I do some cross-promotion today.  Let me begin by telling you that I don’t do drugs.  Not recreational, not habitual, not at all.  So, what I’m about to say may be hard to believe.

I dream.  I dream a lot.  I dream dreams so crazy that you would think weed was coming through my vents at night.

I’ve always been fascinated by my dreams and by the vibrant and creative dreams of friends.  Especially my friend Mary who dreams of make believe animals and formal balls at Dr. Seuss’s house. My friends and I always call each other when we have particulary troubling or giggle-worthy dreams because we like to hear someone else’s interpretation.

In that vein, I have created Nocturnal Emissions, a blog to showcase and interpret interesting and wonderful dreams.  Anyone can submit them: asktheoracles@gmail.com.  And everyone can read and comment.

I have had so much fun with this project.  If any of you would like to submit a dream, I would love to read it and post it with a backlink to your site.  Just shoot me an email to the address above.  Thanks for visiting and keep on dreaming!
