Not bad for my first month of focusing on Clickbank.  I have heard from several people that about one in every hundred buys something.  So far, that seems to be pretty true in reference to these hops.

Now I have something definite to focus on…more hops.  According to the 1/100 theory, I need to have 100 hops per day to make a sale per day.  I think that’s something that I can do fairly quickly, if I keep building sites and getting good traffic to them.

My long term goal is $100.00 per day from clickbank sales.  To do this, I would need to make at least 5 sales per day at $20.00 per sale.  Since most of the products I am focusing on sell for more than this, I think it’s a reasonable long term goal.  That’s approx. 500 hops per day.

In other news, I decided since we’re at the end of May, I would do a little anaylsis of the money that I have been able to make online this year.  Here are the totals:

Today.com: $52.30

Clickbank: $129.46

Demand Studios/eHow $421.48

Adgitize $22.71

Suite101 $87.00

Link Adage $6.00

Associated Content $9.00

Total: $1147.46

That’s a nice little $229.49 per month in passive income, that will only continue to grow!

The best thing about these earnings is that much of it is passive income!  How is everyone else doing this year? Have you noticed any trends?

I met my adsense goal this month, which was that I wanted my earnings from adsense to double.

This month was not as good with affiliate sales, but I know that I”m headed in the right direction so I’m going to keep going.

March 2009 Earnings

Adsense: $24.40

Affiliate Sales: $20.00

I’m also still earning from eHow, Bukisa, AC and today.com.  I met my Bukisa payout this month and I am adding to my network all the time.

I have a couple of new tools that I am using that I want to share with you this month, as well as a new place to write and earn money, so keep a look out for those. I’m constantly on the prowl for new passive income streams!

I wanted to let you guys know how it’s going for me with The Niche Blogger.  I’ve been a member for 2 months now and I have to say that I am impressed.  This sort of thing suits my personality to a T and I’ve actually been having fun working on it.

I have been working my ass off…I suppose because I can see the long term potential in this sort of thing.  It’s been really  interesting to do different things and see exactly what works and what doesn’t.  So, here are the totals so far:

January-

Adsense: $3.49

Affiliates: $59.00

February -

Adsense – $12.69

Affiliates: $59.98

As you can see, the course has already paid for itself.  I’m not a math person, but the percentage increase in my Adsense is pretty fly!  I can’t wait to see how this month turns out!

I am continuing to add articles to my blogs.  One of them is actually up and completely finished, although I will continue to market it as we go along.

Also, I have started a blog that is tailor made to affiliate sales since I am now an affiliate for ThinkGeek.com, my all time favorite store.  Check it out if you have the chance, and leave a comment or two.

Time is also ticking away towards Christmas.  I hope that everyone is doing well this holiday season and I’d like to remind you that writing is sometimes a great stress reliever!  Don’t forget that you can always write for pleasure…not just to make money.

Today.com – 50.00 (I have at least this much…I am still waiting for the final totals)

That’s a grand total of $166.04 for passive income from freelance writing. Not bad for only focusing on passive income for the last couple of months. I hope to double this in the next 3 months. I did not list any up front payments from Helium or Associated Content in those totals.

I also have not listed my Bright Hub earnings because I do not have a total from them yet, either. If any of you would like to sign up for Bukisa or Today.com, I would appreciate you doing it through my links, as I get bonuses for that!
