How Do YOU Blog?
“Why do you blog?” That question has been asked time and time again, with varying answers given by varying individuals. Most blog simply because they like it or they can make a little extra money.
However, as I am becoming more and more of a blogger and getting more involved in the blogging community, I have been struggling with a couple of issues.
How do I keep up with it all? I can be an extremely organized person, but I have found that it squelches creativity. I now have several blogs that I am trying to keep up to date. These all reflect different aspects of my personality.
Those who know me realize that my punk side and my hippie side are constantly at war. These sides have made friends but sometimes have vastly different opinions of how things should work. I have this blog and then two that focus on just how much of a geek I am. Then there is one about sex and relationships, one about my hedonistic side, one about dream interpretation and one slightly hippie blog that I am just getting off the ground that is about personal development and zen like attitudes.
So, my questions are these: (1) Should I try to add something to these every day, even when I am totally uninspired? (2) Since I go through bouts of creativity, should I write when I can and then save drafts of the posts and scatter them out over time? (3) Should I only add to each blog whenever I truly feel as if I have something to say?
How do YOU blog? Do you post daily? If you are blogging for money, which approach have you found to be most effective?

i have many reasons for blogging. one of it is information sharing. so whenever i got an information that i think it’s worth sharing, i’ll put it in my blog. if i have some free time, i’ll write a tutorial for my readers !

blogging can be addictive and at the same time stressful. especially when you get into paid blogging. at present, with all the many chores and increasing offers, i created a schedule for each day. that way, my mind will not be filled with confusion. it gets into the nerves at times. and i am a working mom!

Scheduling is a great idea and even though I have been putting it off, I know it’s time to make a schedule and stick to it.
And if it weren’t for tutorials from other bloggers, I would still be lost out in cyberspace somewhere!

Some days…it’s next to impossible to me. I try to have some saved blog posts in reserve that I can use when I’m not in the mood.
I think the thing that makes it hard for us is that we are always trying to share resources and lessons with readers and, in reality, not everyday unveils a new resource or lesson. Some days you just trudge along trying to make your deadlines…

You are exactly right. I keep a (very) small list of things I want to blog about, but it diminishes every day. I’m still trying to find the balance.

At first, I started blogging mainly to earn money but after a while it got addicting and I’m mostly blogging because I think I have a lot that I want to share. My blog is mainly about personal stuffs but I’m pretty sure it’s interesting enough for others to read.
I don’t blog when I’m not in the mood, I let the mood pass first before I start typing again. It’s hard to focus when I’m uninspired.
I’m also considering putting up a schedule or at least time allotment for my online activities.
