Landscaping The Front Of Your Home Is An Excellent Return on Investment

I was talking with a professional landscaper the other day about redoing the landscaping in front of my home. I have taken a number of measures over the last ten years to improve the appearance of my home as viewed from the street. I have been trying to give it more curb appeal.
My home was built in the traditional American colonial style where everything is relatively symmetrical. Prior to me owning it, some of the windows had been replaced with ones that didn’t really fit the colonial architecture. Replacing them was high on my to do list. That task alone made a substantial improvement in the overall look of the home.
Another thing I did recently was to replace the front door with a classic colonial style door. The new one has twelve window lites on the door which give it that classic look. Replacing that door made a huge difference.
Another thing we did that made a big difference was to get rid of an aluminum awning that had been added to the front of the home in the 1950’s. I don’t know what the previous owners were thinking back then. The awning was not very appealing to the eye. I hadn’t planned on removing that awning. Mother nature gave me the idea. We had a really bad wind storm one day that caused damage to the awning. I guess it was too good at catching the wind. I took the awning down fully intending to replace it. Once I saw what the home looked like without it, I decided to leave it off. Without that awning, the home had much more of its original colonial feel back. Thank god for small favors.
We planted some dwarf pine trees alongside the driveway side of the house. We planted them symmetrically and evenly. That really dressed up that side of the house.
In the front of the home, we replaced the old shrubbery with some new boxwoods that smell just terrific after a warm summer rain. We created a bed for the Boxwoods using some landscaping stone from our local Home Depot. Landscaping the whole front of the home was done for under one thousand dollars. You might be thinking that a thousand dollars is a heck of a lot of money and it is. When you make that much of an improvement in the curb appeal for your home, you can quickly recoup those costs.
One of the most important factors in determining your resale value for your home is that all important first impression that a new potential buyer gets. If you can give them that great first impression, then you can get people bidding back and forth on your home instead of having people trying to negotiate the price downward. Ask any professional landscaper and they will show you. You can easily recover the costs of landscaping the front of your home. It is the most important.

Are the lovely purple trees Japanese maples — or Japanese plums? I’m thinking of getting a tree like that for my own front yard.

I believe that avoiding prepared foods is a first step so that you can lose weight.
They could taste beneficial, but packaged foods have
very little vitamins and minerals, making you eat more simply to have enough vitality to get
over the day. Should you be constantly having these foods, moving over
to cereals and other complex carbohydrates will let you
have more energy while ingesting less. Thanks alot : ) for your blog post.

Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what you say is valuable and all. However think about if

Your content is excellent but with images and videos,
