Taking a Time Out

topperWhew! I’m having quite a time these days and I’ve decided to take a break from creating niche sites to promote the ones that I have before adding more passive income streams.  As most of you know, I’m getting married next month.  Things on that front have been crazy, even though it’s going to be a small, simple ceremony.

Any time you have a wedding that’s out of town, there are numerous details and that is what is keeping me up at night! The image to the left there is our cake topper.  We’re not doing a big cake, we’re doing tiers of red, black and white cupcakes! YUM.

I also decided to go ahead and begin my bad-ass wedding site a few days ago, incorporating my cake topper into the heading.  The site will focus on non-traditional weddings and all the fun stuff that goes along with them! I’m so glad that I did not decide to start this site until my wedding was already planned, because in researching it, I’ve come across a thousand things I would have done – and it would have ended up being WAY more expensive than it is.

Either way, I’ve been having fun with this site, but like I said, I am going to be concentrating more on promotion this month so that I can get these sites where I want them before I start on new ones.

Any promotion ideas, you guys?  I’d love some help!

By the way, the header for the Bad-Ass Weddings site was made by me! It was my very first header to make on my own and I love the way it turned out!

Backlinks! Backlinks! You could try redgage.com or post on some wedding forums or sites. Exchange links with another website and definitely promote on Twitter. I like the new site alot.
