Writing for Lifetips

Lifetips.com provides readers tips on subjects such as dating, auto repair, SEO, travel and internet marketing. And, well, really anything you can think of. A few weeks ago, I was approved to be the guru for their dating channel. At first, it seemed that I could submit up to 20 tips/blog entries per month and be paid $10 each for them. Now, it seems that I will be getting residual income from page views beginning in the new year.
I have only added a couple of tips to the site so far and am spending some time approving comments and getting rid of spam. I have yet to make a blog entry there. My question is this: Does anyone else out there write for Lifetips? If so, what has been your experience there? And do you still write for them? 
I’m interested in hearing from other writers about this site. It seems that the site has undergone many changes in the last several years, but I’m actually really excited to see what the new year brings with this gig.
If you are intereseted in giving it a shot, visit the lifetips website and browse through channels that you enjoy writing about. At the top of each page, the guru for that subject will be listed. If there is no guru, that means that they are hiring! You can apply right there at the site.
Incidentally, when I got my approval, they encouraged me to apply to write for their sister site, WriterAccess. I have submitted my application and am waiting to hear back from them. From what I have read, the rates look really competitive. Anyone have any experience with them?

I’ve not heard of this one, but hey, new opportunities are always worth a look! So are you getting the $10 PLUS revenues, or just the revenues?
Sounds like that Bright Hub place. Never visited there, but it sounds similar.

I’m actually not sure. When I signed the contract, it said I would get the $10, but if you read the faq now, it says that you will get revenues beginning Jan. 1st. I’ll keep you posted on what exactly is going on. I hope that I hear from someone who is already writing there.

Any update on this? I consider applying with them but still I can’t make up my mind which of the channels is best for me. Are you still on Lufetips? If yes, what’s your experience?

I am still with them, but it’s not something that I have been able to put a lot of effort into. They have recently added Chitika ads to the site, and I have been able to make a little bit of money through that.

You made some clear points there. I looked on the internet for the issue and found most people will agree with your website.
